			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The redeeming quality of my get-rid-of muffin tops project was that though I didn&#8217;t manage to get rid after 3 months (total failure) but I found another equally vain goal to attain and less worry of my muffin tops after all.  Guess I can still live with my muffin top but I can&#8217;t stand those ugly dimples all over my tights.  I know it is lame, a sort of diversion problem but the vain woman in me need to get rid of those toxin and fats deposit quick.  <span style="font-style:normal;line-height:18px;">I know it is a unattainable goal to get rid of those ugly dimple but </span>I gave myself 6 months to lessen appearance of those orange peels.  </p>
<p>1) Resume swimming regime &#8211; to move whole body and get some tan to conceal those cottage cheese</p>
<p>2) Consume plenty of green leafy vegetables.</p>
<p>3) Consume a lot of water</p>
<p>4) Include 3 unit of cardio exercise per week including 1 unit of treadmill.</p>
<p>5) Include resistant training during exercise.</p>
<p>6) Avoid junk food</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I recently read an article in Babble.Com that I wholehearted agree&#8230;mommy guilt is ubiquitous, often seems as if damned if they do, damned if they don’t.   According to the author, Erica Jong, “It seems we have devised a new torture for mothers—a set of expectations that makes them feel inadequate no matter how passionately they attend to their children,”  As I was reading, my heart fluttering yes, yes and yes&#8230;.</p>
<p>If they breastfeed more than a year, they’re deemed a hardcore lactivist. If they breastfeed less than a year, clearly, they aren&#8217;t trying hard enough.  If they stay-at-home, they’re lazy.  If they return to work, they’re selfish.  Sometimes, it seems as no matter how hard we try, moms can’t win.</p>
<p>We as modern woman need to be released from guilt about our children, not further bound by it. New mantra for modern mom  &#8221;Do the best you can. There are no rules.” or &#8220;It&#8217;s okay that I&#8217;m not supermom afterall, I&#8217;m just a human.&#8221;</p>

<p>I&#8217;m extremely vain.  I read somewhere that you have to have some healthy food stock up all the time.  I bought some fresh blueberries yesterday &#8211; rich with anti-oxidant and free radical.  So, this morning I cook sweet oats porridge  (oat + organic cane sugar) tops with fresh blueberries.  Oats is another power food which rich in fiber and can help lower your cholesterol level.   I keep on alternating with fruits and veggies- sweet carrot oat (again with organic cane sugar) sprinkles with wolf-berries (both ingredients good for eye sight).</p>
<p>Both were tasty but sadly not filing enough.  An hour after consuming, I crave for food again even I had a full plate.</p>

<p><em>Who say housewife are free from morning rush hour madness?</em></p>
<p>Having experience both as working and non-working, I can bet with you that you would rather stick to your working morning rush.  At least it is traffic you have to beat&#8230;.</p>
<p>Let me recount my typical morning.  Got to force myself to wake up before 7am (even though I can sleep longer) coz&#8217; my Ian wanted to be the first one to reach school.  His school only starts at 8:30am.  Don&#8217;t even ask me why?  He will throw major fit if my mobile clock hits 8:00am and I&#8217;m still at home.  Upon reaching school gate, he inconveniently told me that he forgets to wear his watch and force me to do an illegal U-turn to get him his watch<em> (that he said his teacher insists him wearing&#8230;that I can&#8217;t figure out).</em> Then only he is willing to bid goodbye to me happily.</p>
<p>Reaching home, thought I could read my morning paper peacefully when  my Julian told me he needs to copy his homework questions from his classmate.  Got to drive him to his friend&#8217;s house to copy those questions and waited for him there.  Reach home, thought I could resume reading my earlier interrupted newspaper, suddenly remember I got to fix them breakfast.  So, I quickly assembled smoke chicken ham and cheese sandwich for my 2 boys and one for myself before browsing quickly the headlines because I got to oversee Julian&#8217;s homework.</p>
<p>After that, I got to serve virtual dishes at Cafe World, otherwise no food in my cafe. Not only I need to serve mine, I need to help serving Ian&#8217;s (who is in school) and Julian&#8217;s (who is doing his homework).  After serving virtual dishes, I got to prepare real lunch dishes for Julian and Keagan.   Then I got to get Julian ready to school and send him off to school in the afternoon.  Before that, I got to log on my internet and write this blog before I conveniently forget what&#8217;s like to be me.</p>
